Trying out Windows 7 RC1 after the Ubuntu lockups. So far it’s nice and speedy; cygwin/X11 is a bit wonky, RDP with VirtualBox is flaky.

Ugh, tired. Now we have to get the house ready for guests.

Indrani was surprised at her surprise party. Thankfully.

Saw Wolverine last night at the Studio Movie Grill at Town & Country. It was a bit episodic and had a few holes, but overall very good.

My favorite office chair of seven years has finally gone to the great beyond. Let us have a moment of silence.

Good session last night at the Duck, I really needed that. Plus I picked up a Lindeman’s glass, score.

I’m getting the occaisional hard-lock with Jaunty on my laptop while browsing or checking mail. I may try out Win 7 RC1 for a bit.

Had to add/remove my dev box from the domain, so now I’m rebuilding my desktop environment. Joy.

Settling into the new office. Things are mostly coming along, lots of room.

Giving twhirl a twirl, let’s see if everything updates.

Back from camping. Over way too soon.

Missed Wolverine, going for sushi at Nori’s instead.

Liking my new Surfboard SB5101. It can show the upstream/downstream power levels & signal to noise ratio. So far no dropped connections.

Woo-hoo! Back online with the new Surfboard. Let’s see if this is more reliable than the old Toshiba. Only took an hour on hold.

On hold with comcast for 30 min. Still no joy.
