Cable
One thing I liked about the house when we saw it was the large study with a built in desk. On thing that was confusing and annoying was the cable outlet on the ceiling.
I’m not sure who thought this was the best place to put it.
I cut a hole above the wall, ran a spare cable line down, installed a new work box in the wall…
add on a new face plate and no more cable hanging in front of the shelves.
I still need to remove the old outlet, fill the hole with drywall and plaster and paint.
