The Dresden Files
With the start of the fairly decent Sci-Fi Channel series The Dresden Files I decided to check out the books.
A good but not great book, it was a quick read over the weekend. Look up wizard in the Chicago phone book and Harry Dresden is the only one you’ll find. A mix of detective novels and fantasy, it reminded me of the Kim Harrison books but without the angst.
It’s a full moon and the werewolves are out to play. An improvement over the first book, but still lacking something.
Faery Godmothers and Vampires, it’s not a good time for Harry. This is the first in the series that really grabbed me. A few parts annoyed me, but this was a really good read and a sign the series is improving.
Already at war with the Vampire Court, now Harry has to deal with a war amongst the Fey folk. Best of the series so far, I had a hard time putting this one down.
