Widdershins
I admit to having a soft spot for Charles DeLint. His combination of Irish and Native American Mythology and Urban Fantasy is a favorite of mine, albeit not as fresh as it once was. Here, people fall in and out of love, the world is threaten, personal obstacles are overcome and music is played, sometimes at the Fairy Court held at the mall.
Nothing new for DeLint but I liked it. And my mom bought me the hardback for Christmas, so I got to read it a year earlier than expected. I’m cheap.
